The BizMatch session held on 4 June 2025 marked a key business component of the Malaysian Palm Oil Forum (MPOF) Philippines 2025 in Manila. Organised by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), the session facilitated structured one-on-one meetings between 16 Malaysian palm oil suppliers and buyers from the Philippines. A total of 121 business meetings were conducted, providing a focused platform for companies to discuss sourcing requirements, product specifications, pricing considerations and potential long-term supply arrangements. The session covered a wide range of applications across the food, oleochemical and related downstream sectors, reflecting the diverse demand profile of the Philippine market. The BizMatch programme generated an estimated RM122 million in potential trade, underscoring strong commercial interest and reinforcing the Philippines’ position as a key ASEAN market for Malaysian palm oil. The targeted business engagements enabled Malaysian exporters to strengthen relationships with existing partners, establish new trade linkages and gain clearer insights into evolving market needs. The positive outcomes from the BizMatch session highlight MPOC’s continued efforts to create practical, results-oriented platforms that connect Malaysian suppliers directly with international buyers and translate market engagement into tangible trade opportunities.
